Cereals
We purchase food cereals (wheat, rye and malting barley) and feed grain for feed production or subsequent sale. Cereals that do not meet the food or feed parameters are purchased for a biogas plant..

Malt barley must be supplied with a proof of authenticity of the variety (e.g. an invoice for the purchase of certified seed).
In the case of grain treatment by drying in an own dryer, it is necessary to report this fact to the Purchaser upon delivery.

Poppy
We purchase Czech, blue poppy seed. We have our own cleaning, drying and storage facilities. We then sell high quality poppy, pure variety, and second quality poppy.

Harmlessness
The raw material must comply with the health requirements of the ČSN.

Transport
Covered and sealed means of transport are required to transport commodities. They must be clean, dry, free from mould and grain pests, free of foreign odours and residues of other substances that could be a source of contamination.
- The raw material does not contain genetically modified organisms and is not subject to labelling within the meaning of EC Regulation 1829/2003 on genetically modified food and feed.
- The raw material does not pose a risk of dioxin contamination.
- The raw material must not contain foreign bodies (glass, fissile materials, metals, wood, etc.).
- In case of treatment with the product against warehouse pests the date of application and the name of the product, including the withdrawal period, must be stated on the delivery note.
- The maximum allowable pesticide residue levels and undesirable substances are in compliance with the applicable legislation:
- Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 May 2002 on undesirable substances in animal feed and Commission Regulation (EU) No 574/2011 of 16 June 2011 amending Annex I to Directive 2002/32/EC;
- Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 February 2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin and amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC;
- Commission Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 of 19 December 2006 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs;
- ČSN 56 9609 Microbiological criteria for foodstuff.
Storage conditions
The premises must be clean, dry, easily ventilated, free of mould, pests, and odours.
Legislation
These requirements for the quality of the raw material supplied derive from the requirements of the ČSN standard, GMP + BA1 requirements and the legislation cited in this specification.
More about legislationAny primary producer or grain trader must have their establishment effective at any stage of production, processing, storage, or distribution of feed and must comply with the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council of the European Union No 183/2005 laying down requirements for feed hygiene.
Qualitative acceptance
The quality of agricultural products is checked by the purchaser in their own laboratories in the presence of a vendor's representative.

They are used to recalculate the value of the commodity if it does not match the qualitative parameters.
More about price and weight conversionsIn case of absence of a representative of the Seller while taking samples or performing their analysis, the binding sample taken by the Purchaser and the analysis made by them shall be binding for the determination of the quality and the offset of the delivery for performance of the contract. Impurities in cereals are assessed according to valid standards (ČSN) and according to the subject standards of individual commodities. In case the delivered goods do not comply with the standards, the Seller agrees to the technological treatment (drying, cleaning) of the delivered goods to the values according to the standards.
The Seller declares that the agricultural products are treated only with products which are placed on the market and put into circulation in accordance with a) Act No. 326/2004 Coll. on phytosanitary care, b) Act No. 156/1998 Coll. on fertilizers, soil improver, auxiliary plant preparations and substrates, and on agrochemical testing of agricultural soils (Fertilizers Act), as amended by the maximum pesticide residue levels for some products (EP and R Regulation 396/2005 including amendments).
In compliance with the Standards for Sustainable Biomass Production (ISCC) and Act No. 201/2012 Coll. the process of buying, storing, selling and supplying plant commodities is demanded by ADW AGRO, a.s. from their suppliers, cooperate in demonstrating compliance with the requirements for sustainable biomass production. In particular, confirmation of the form of a separate biomass grower's declaration on compliance with Sustainability Criteria on the requirements for sustainable production of biofuels produced in the EU, the transmission of necessary data for a specific commodity to calculate greenhouse gas savings, allowing the control of requirements for sustainable biomass production on-site at the primary producer, including the submission of relevant documents.
If the quality of the deliveries does not comply with the basic quality values, the following shall be carried out:
- mass deduction
- at any higher 0,5 % humidity deduction 0,6 % from the actual weight
- per each higher 1,0 % impurities total deduction 1,0 % of the weight, calculated on the basis of the basic humidity
- for each higher 1,0 % of the overgrown and damaged seeds in the case of rape, a deduction of 0,5 % of the weight
- for maize for each % of impurities above the 8% 1% of weight shall be deduced
- price deductions
- for food wheat – if one quality indicator is not observed between the baseline and the limit value (max or min) the price shall be negotiated
- in rape – at a fat content of 40 % and less the price shall be negotiated
Drying compensations are set at 1 tonne of weight at take-over for every 1% humidity than is determined for the base humidity. The actual humidity readings are rounded to the full, i.e., up to 0,4% shall be disregarded and over 0,5% and above shall be rounded to 1,0%. Refunds for one cleaning are calculated for each 5% impurity of the delivered products.
