Why hydrothermal flocking in goat and sheep breeding?
Sheep and goat farming is under strong pressure to increase livestock productivity. This has an impact on the increased need to supply animals with nutrients. The principle of hydrothermal flocking is based on the natural processes:
- Heat-treated grain is more digestible
- The animal uses more nutrients, starches, proteins and fat
- It gains more energy, which has an effect in high performance; the animal gives more milk or has high increments
- Healthy digestion means overall better health
- The breeding economy is significantly growing, while preserving or improving animal health
